This is an old picture. That baby is closing in on 3 now, but I mostly look the same, so it’s fine.
Speaking of babies, I have several. Some of them are taller than me now, but they are still my sweet little babies, except when they forget to put the milk back or when they roll their eyes at me, and then they’re my husband’s kids.
Have you ever tried to define yourself in three paragraphs? It’s harder than it looks. Try it, then come back and read this again and you’ll find you are way more gracious.
I have six kids. I have been married for a long time to the same person. I love Jesus, the outdoors, apologetics, Thai food, educational philosophy, books, my family, chocolate, the world at large, music from the 1920’s, Middle Eastern history, anthropology, theology and evolutionary biology.
Not necessarily in that order.
I write because I can’t help it. I love it, too. Words and ideas and thoughts are the most powerful force in the world.
And I hate talking about myself.
